At Blue Diamond Heating and Air, we are committed to supporting California’s clean energy initiatives through our involvement in the TECH Clean California program. This program provides significant equity incentives for residential customers to upgrade their homes with energy-efficient technologies at no cost.
Eligible households can receive free installations of high-efficiency water heaters, HVAC systems, and electrical panel upgrades. These upgrades are designed to reduce energy bills and enhance home efficiency.
To qualify for these equity incentives, single-family households must meet one of the following income criteria:
At or below 80% of the area’s median income.
At or below 250% of the federal poverty level.
Multifamily building owners must provide a deed restriction copy for the building. Verification is straightforward via the TECH online portal, ensuring households benefit from the program effortlessly.
Income verification is necessary to avail higher incentives and can be done through the TECH portal, where various documentation such as tax filings and program enrollments are accepted.
By participating, households not only contribute to a greener planet but also enjoy reduced energy costs and enhanced home comfort. This initiative is part of our broader mission to promote sustainable living and support our community in transitioning to clean energy solutions.
